News and Highlights

Grudge Match

From an anonymous and completely unbiased correspondent:

Re the esteemed "Grudge Match" yes it took place on Sunday, 22 March and Allan was very very lucky to win 10-9 and I mean lucky since I was leading 7-2 after 5 ends and I picked up a hip injury preventing me from extending my victorious run of recent results!!!
But always modest Allan will obviously disagree with my summary of event.
However I'm very happy he's happy!!
Allan's rink; Allan, George Hunter, Jim McFadzean and Robin Wilson.
CvH's rink: Me, Robert Struthers, Alex Fergusson and Paul Hunter.
I took one photo of a smiling Allan however I must have deleted it after emailing it to Chris Clow.

[Fortunately we have been able to retrieve this photo, displayed above in all its glory].
