Kirkland Trophy |
Corrie Lawrence is asking for support for the Kirkland Trophy. This used to be a women-only competition but is now being opened to men. It is for new and inexperienced curlers with up to about 5 years experience, and is intended to instruct them in the rules and etiquette of the game. It runs fortnightly throughout the season on Mondays at 12.00. Anyone interested should give their name to Corrie, or contact the office at the ice rink. |
AGM and ACM |
26 members (more than half of the curling membership) attended the Annual General and Curling Meeting of the club in the Failford Inn on Tuesday 8th May 2012. The new president Niall Mackie closed the meeting at 9.44 p.m. The new vice-president is Carlos van Heddegem. |
