The Grudge Match

The great Alan v Carlos grudge match was played in a competitive but friendly spirit. So friendly in fact that Carlos gave away a lead of three in the last end to make it a peel.

Ayr CC

There are vacancies on the Ayr CC committee for 3 men (1 for 1 year and 2 for 3 years). Nominations must be made in writing to the Ayr CC office by Thursday 10th August 2006.

Ice Charges

Ice charges for members of Ayr Curling Club are as follows:

9.45 a.m., 12 noon, 2.30 p.m. £5.50
5.00 p.m. £7.00
6.15 p.m., 7.15 p.m., 8.30 p.m. £7.50
9.30 p.m. £5.50
Sunday all sessions (2 hours) £5.50

The temporary membership subscription will be agreed at the Ayr CC AGM (Thursday 17th August 2006.

Coaching

For Beginners' Coursers, Improvers' Courses, and Revision Clincs, contact Graham Boyd. There is no schedule, but Graham will be arranging courses according to the demand. If you are interested, contact him before the beginning of the season. I do not want to publish his phone number here - you can find it in last year's Ayr CC syllabus, or contact me.
